Tyler Verst serves as Director of Operations at Journey Advisory Group, where he oversees operational strategy, internal processes, and firm-wide initiatives that support the delivery of high-quality financial planning and client service. Based in the firm’s Northern Kentucky office, Tyler works closely with the advisory team to help ensure a consistent and efficient experience for clients across the firm.
Before joining Journey Advisory Group in 2023, Tyler spent more than a decade working in the tax and finance departments of large multinational corporations. During this time, he earned his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designations. Tyler has also completed the education and experience requirements to use the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®) designation, reflecting his broad background in financial planning, taxation, and risk management.
Tyler is a native of Alexandria, Kentucky and a graduate of Thomas More University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in accountancy and an associate degree in business administration. He is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Olivet.
Outside of the office, Tyler enjoys coaching his son’s baseball team, playing golf whenever he can, and spending time with his wife Abby and their three children.
