Tyler Verst is the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Journey Advisory Group, where he leads the firm's operational strategy, financial management, and growth initiatives. He oversees the infrastructure, processes, and teams that support advisors and clients, helping ensure a consistent, high-quality experience across the organization. Working closely with firm leadership, Tyler drives innovation, enhances operational efficiency, and helps position Journey Advisory Group for long-term success.

Before joining Journey Advisory Group in 2023, Tyler spent more than a decade working in the tax and finance departments of large multinational corporations. During this time, he earned his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designations. Tyler has also completed the education and experience requirements to use the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®) designation, reflecting his broad background in financial planning, taxation, and risk management.

Tyler is a native of Alexandria, Kentucky and a graduate of Thomas More University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in accountancy and an associate degree in business administration. He is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Olivet.

Outside of the office, Tyler enjoys coaching his son’s baseball team, playing golf whenever he can, and spending time with his wife Abby and their three children.
