Tyler Malay is an Associate Financial Advisor at Journey Advisory Group. He began his career with the firm as an intern in 2024, quickly demonstrating a strong work ethic, a passion for helping others, and a natural interest in financial planning. His transition to a full-time role in 2025 reflects his commitment to supporting clients and contributing to the team’s mission. Prior to joining Journey, he interned at Hand in Hand Realty, where he gained experience working with investment properties.
A Northern Kentucky native, Tyler graduated from Bishop Brossart High School and went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from Northern Kentucky University. He has successfully completed the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) and Series 65 exams and is currently working toward the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation.
Outside of work, Tyler enjoys golfing, working out, and playing or watching just about any sport—including baseball, basketball, tennis, and soccer. He has two family dogs and is currently in the process of adopting one of his own.
