Sara joined Journey Advisory Group in March of 2023 as a Portfolio Administrator. With over 20 years of experience in administration and customer service, Sara is eager to partner with the firm’s Senior Financial Advisors to manage customer relationships and portfolios.
Sara has a master’s degree from the University of Kansas in Social Work Administration. Prior to joining JAG, she spent seven years of demonstrated career success in advocacy, policy, community organizing, development and counseling. She then chose to follow her epicurious passions of fine cuisine and quality wine and devoted herself entirely to wine education, sales, hospitality and the planning and execution of events.
A three-month internship took Sara to California to work harvest in Alexander Valley. After a successful five-year career in Sonoma and Napa Counties, she relocated to Cincinnati due to family necessities. Sara learned about the city by working for Eat Well Catering and eventually joined Fifth Third Bank. From Commercial Support to Preferred Relationship Banking, Sara enjoyed developing meaningful relationships with clients and earning their trust to provide them with quality service, advice and solutions.
Sara is passionate about travel, culture and social justice. She enjoys adventure, activity, meaningful conversation, competition and information. She is most happy outside, in or on water, with close friends, a good book and a glass of wine.
